Alison Durham

Alison Durham is an Australian freelance writer and public health advocate. She has published many non-fiction articles in national magazines and a memoir piece in a book of reflections on the pandemic.

Alison was Advocacy Manager at the National Heart Foundation in Queensland for more than 25 years.  She led their government relations and advocacy strategy and campaigns.

She has written many expert public health policy proposals and reports, including budget and election proposals and parliamentary submissions; as well as content for compelling case study stories, profiles, media releases and social media.

Alison is currently on the Board of Queensland Walks, advocating for better walking environments. She is based in Brisbane.
